The birth data you enter on the matching page
Your birth date, time and place are discarded as soon as your search is done. They exist only for the few hundred milliseconds it takes to process your search — they aren't written to any database or to our log files. The matching service never saves them on its own; the only way they get saved is if you click a button yourself (see the sections below). What we do keep is a statistical record of each search: which page it came from and any campaign tag in the link, whether you gave an exact birth time, a broad age group (baby, child, teen or adult), how many matches were found, and your account ID if you're signed in. We use it to understand how the service is used.
The one exception is a connection record that protects forms from being forged: it holds only a random string — not your birth data, and nothing about who you are — and it disappears automatically after seven days.
Also, if you click "Create share link" yourself, we save the statistics on that page (which match level, how many people, how their backgrounds break down) and give you a URL. That record does not contain your birth data — anyone with the URL can see the results, but not whose chart it is. If you don't click, nothing is saved.
Paid reports send your chart to an AI engine
Free matching doesn't use AI at all. When you buy a paid report, we send the chart calculated from your birth data — including your birth date and time, the latitude and longitude of your birthplace, and your age — along with public information about the famous people who share your chart, to an AI engine provided by a company in the United States, so it can write the report. Under its terms with us, that company doesn't use what we send to train AI models. Each report is sent only once, and once written it's saved to your report page.
If you save your chart
When you're signed in, the results page shows two buttons: "Set as my birth chart" and "Save to my chart library." Nothing is saved unless you click them, and if you're not signed in, you won't even see the buttons. Only after you click is the chart saved under your account; the notice below applies to that saved data. Also, when you buy a paid report, we save that birth data to your chart library (the checkout page tells you first) so the report can be generated.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Who collects it | Hsin Yang Network Co., Ltd. (欣洋網路有限公司), operator of DestinyNet |
| Why we collect it | To store your chart so you can view and manage it on this site later, and to generate the paid reports you buy. |
| What we collect | Your date of birth, exact birth time, city of birth and gender, plus the information that identifies your account. You can leave the chart's name blank — whether to fill it in is up to you. |
| How long we keep it | Until you delete it yourself or your account is closed. |
| Where it's stored | Your birth data is stored in our own database located in Taiwan (Republic of China). When you buy a paid report, your chart is also sent to an AI engine provider in the United States (see "Paid reports send your chart to an AI engine" above). |
| Who receives it | This site, and — when you buy a paid report — the AI engine provider that writes the report text. We don't sell your birth data or share it with anyone else. The services listed under "Other services we use" below don't receive it. |
| How it's used | Only so that you can view and manage it on this site. Charts you save never go into the database of famous people used for matching — other people's searches will never turn you up. |
| Your rights | You can ask to look up, view or get a copy of your data, add to or correct it, ask us to stop collecting, processing or using it, and ask us to delete it. How: you can delete charts yourself in your chart library — once deleted, they're really gone. For anything else, email service@destiny.to. |
| If you choose not to provide it | Nothing changes. You'll still see the full search results; your chart just won't be saved. |
Other services we use
Google sign-in: if you sign in, Google tells us your name, email address and account ID. When you sign in or out, we also record your IP address, browser, the page you came from and the country your IP address suggests, to keep accounts secure. PayPal: PayPal processes your payment. We never see your card or bank details. Google Analytics: we measure which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Before anything is sent, we remove everything from page addresses except campaign and ad-click tags, and your birth data is never sent. Cloudflare: delivers this site and the photos on it, so it handles your connection, including your IP address.
We don't sell your data
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
Children
This service isn't directed to children under 13, and paid reports are for buyers 18 and older. If you enter a child's birth data, please do so as their parent or guardian.
Do Not Track
Our site doesn't respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We don't track you across other websites.
For entertainment only
Astrology on this site is for reflection and entertainment. Matches and reports don't predict events and aren't medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
Payments and refunds
Paid reports are digital content, and work on yours begins as soon as you pay, so purchases are non-refundable. If a system failure keeps your report from being generated or shown, we'll regenerate it or give you a full refund — email service@destiny.to.
Questions?
Email any requests about your personal data to service@destiny.to, and we'll get back to you.
