How many people are in the database?
About 70,000 right now — people from politics, business, entertainment, sports, literature, science and more, from all over the world and across many eras. New people are added all the time.
Are their birth times accurate?
We only include people whose birth time is known to the minute and comes from a reliable source. About 80% of the birth times come from birth certificates or official records; the rest are quoted directly from the person, their family or a biography.
Anyone whose source is questionable, whose accounts conflict, or whose birth date is known but not the time is left out — shift the time by two hours and it's a different chart.
What does "same chart" mean?
It means the same Big Three: your Sun, Moon and Rising sign all fall in the same signs as theirs. Everything else in the chart is free to differ — Mercury, Venus, Mars, the outer planets, the houses and the aspects — so two people with the same Big Three can still lead very different lives, and the report shows where.
We also show, separately, the smaller group who match on the houses too: the same Rising sign, with the Sun and Moon in the same houses. That needs a birth time accurate to the minute.
Will my life (or my child's) turn out like these famous people's?
It's something to think about, not a prediction. People who share a chart often live very different lives — that's exactly what makes the comparison interesting.
What's more useful is the shared themes: the fields where these people tend to shine, the stages of life where they tend to hit turning points, the kinds of things that tend to test them. You're looking at tendencies, not a script.
What if I share a chart with a murderer or a controversial figure?
Don't worry about it. The same group can include a Nobel laureate, an athlete and a criminal — which only shows that people with the same chart end up in very different places. Who a person becomes has never been decided by the moment of birth alone.
We don't hide these people, and we don't play them up. The paid report has a section on "same chart, different lives": starting from the same foundation, which choices and circumstances took people in different directions. That's often more worth learning from than what they have in common.
Can I search if I don't know my exact birth time?
Not for a Big Three match. Your Rising sign changes about every two hours, so we need the hour and minute you were born. In the US the time is usually on your birth certificate.
If you only know roughly, try the times you think most likely and see which result feels closer.
Why do you need my birthplace?
Your Rising sign depends on where you were born as well as when: it is the sign coming up over the eastern horizon at that place and moment. Your birthplace also tells us the time zone and whether daylight saving time was in effect. Change the city and the Rising sign — and with it the Big Three — can change.
Do you keep my birth data?
Searches made without signing in leave no record at all — the data is discarded as soon as the search is done.
When you click "Create share link," we save only the statistics from the results, not your birth data — someone with the link can't tell whose chart it is. Your birth data is saved only if you sign in and choose "Save to my chart library," or if you buy a paid report (the checkout page tells you first).
Can I look up a family member's or friend's chart?
Yes. We don't know whose chart you're looking up — that's up to you.
What do I get for free? What does the paid report add?
The free results show how many people share your chart in each system, plus how their occupations and achievements break down — but not their names.
The paid report tells you who these people are and the highlights of their lives, and compares each of them with your chart one by one: where you're alike, where you differ, which of their experiences are worth learning from, and what to watch out for.
How soon do I get the report after paying?
About three to five minutes. The report starts being written as soon as your payment goes through, and the page updates on its own. You can also leave and come back later from "My reports" in the top right corner.
Can I get a refund?
Sorry, we can't offer refunds. The report is digital content written on the spot from your birth data, and it starts being generated as soon as you pay.
Before you pay, please double-check your birth date, time and place — if the data is wrong, the comparison is for a different chart.
Who writes the report?
Your chart and the matches are calculated by software, and the text of the report is written by AI based on your chart and the life stories of the people who share it. Every report is generated on the spot for your birth data — it isn't a template.
